Can somebody please tell me where all the kids outside are? I have been living in this bowie community for 2 years!! In the morning there are 50 kids in front of my house waiting for the school bus. After school its the same 2 gumps outside and the rest are nowhere to be found.
I don't know about y'all, but when I was a kid...You couldn't catch me in the house. Doesn't matter where I was. I could have been at home, grandma's house or at a friends house. Pick up basketball, football in the streets, baseball, kickball, wall ball whatever!! Even street hockey with roller blades... YES, STREET HOCKEY!!
You wanna know why your little brother sucks at sports?!? I will tell you why. That damn PlayStation, cell phones and personal laptops!! Don't get me wrong, I had a PlayStation also, only got one game a year.. MADDEN!! What is a 13 year old doing with a cell phone?!?! "He might need to contact me" I got a phone when I turned 18 and I did perfectly fine. You need a cell to track your kids, then you have a bigger problem.
All y'all parents out there, come on... lets get back to those old values we had. Let them go outside and get some stitches. They will be ok. Lets stop raising nerds. I know one thing....My son will be on the block!! Beating your kid's ass.. cuz I told him to.. lmbo
Can we add some corporal punishment to this also. I mean don't get me wrong, I didn't like it when my parents came for my cheeks (the butt ones) either, but I appreciate it today. I see way too many children with so much verbiage for their parents, and I get confused. No, you shouldn't have to beat your child down in public to get them to listen. If you have to go through all of that then there's a deeper issue of lack of respect that probably falls into your (the parents) lap. However, I do agree with you going ahead and tapping that tail on issues where talking is obviously not getting through.

They cannot be doing their homework as much as they are outside. And my bro use to get one game a year too for his playstation, and it was Madden! lol--too funny.
